The Saturday Morning Men's Fellowship Group meets the second Saturday of the month from September to May. Meetings take place in the Stonewall Jackson Museum room, last one hour, and include breakfast (provided on a rotation basis by each member) and a discussion of an assigned reading. Adult men of all ages are welcome. For more information contact Bob Moreschi, 463-6984.
In-home fellowship provides an opportunity to nurture a sense of community and belonging among our adult members. Each house church group of 10-20 people meets once a month, October through May, for a covered dish meal in a member's home. Programs use humor, group discussion, and shared experiences to help us know each other better.

Coffee Fellowship
Coffee Fellowship featuring coffee, lemonade, and cookies follows the 11:00 service. During the colder months we meet in Dunlap Auditorium. When it is warmer, we gather in the garden between the sanctuary and Murray Hall.
Suppers on White Street (SOWS)
Three Sunday evenings during the summer, we are invited to a very casual, informal, and unstructured covered dish supper at the Manse, located at 6 White Street. The idea is for folks to bring whatever dish they wish to be thrown together for a meal on the Klein's lawn. There may be games of chase and freeze tag. There will be plenty of sitting around under huge shade trees and chewing the fat. All you have to bring is a dish, a lawn chair, an interest in spending some unhurried time with your church family, and a notion to pig out.
We begin gathering around 5:30 on each of the three Sunday evenings. Supper usually happens around 6:00. We go as long as you wish. The object is to have fun together as a church family.

- Friends of Barnabas Foundation:
- This organization works to enable and equip volunteers in Christian mission. Lexington Presbyterian has regularly participated in medical missions to Honduras sponsored by this organization.
- Habitat for Humanity:
- Habitat
for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing
ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from
the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build
houses together in partnership with families in need.
Locally our church participates in the "Disciples Build." For more information click here. - Heifer International:
- Families are enabled to sustain themselves by the gift of farm animals. They can then support their entire community by gifts of the animals' offspring. Lexington Presbyterian supports this organization by an annual offering.
- Project Horizon:
- Via the Jesse Tree project during Advent we collect household supplies, children's clothing and toys, plus gift cards and cash for Lisa's House, which provides up to 30 days of shelter to clients who are not safe in their own homes. Additionally residents work with residents to move beyond the crisis. Special services are also available for children.
- Rescue Mission of Roanoke:
- Every Christmas we collect clothing for this mission.
Help Wanted!
Adult Male Needed
Please prayerfully consider traveling and working with our youth for mission work 8 - 14 June. If you, or a college-aged student you know, are interested in accompanying the group, please contact the church as soon as possible. The church will cover the cost of The Pilgrimage program for the adult supervisors. (Posted 28 Apr 08)
Count Team
There are vacancies on the Offering Count Team. The group would like to recruit some new volunteers to help with this important task that requires only one Sunday per calendar quarter. Please call the church office (463-3873) or Ed Claiborn (463-5446) if you would like to help. (Posted 29 Jan 08)
"Cubbies" for the Nursery
If anyone has some "cubbies" they do not need, we are looking to put some in our nursery and toddler extended session room. We need something that can be hung on the wall and that is sturdy. Another alternative would be to have someone in our congregation make them. If you can meet this need, please call the church office. (Posted 28 April 08)
Drivers
Drivers are needed to deliver tapes to those who are unable to attend services. The time commitment is an hour or so on Monday or Tuesday on a rotating schedule. Call Kay Roberts (464-9500). (Posted 1 Feb 08)
Sound System
Skip Hess and Flash Floyd are looking for volunteers to be substitutes to manage the sound system board during the 11:00am worship service.
